Northridge Eats Launches In San Fernando Valley

DMI Real Estate Group has launched Northridge Eats, bringing a variety of Asian flavors under one roof. Open for lunch and dinner, the new eatery houses five restaurants including Maxwell Chicken Rice, Kotsu Ramen and Gyoza, Akafuji Northridge and Mee Dee Thai Kitchen. Located at 9346 Corbin Avenue in Northridge.

Alma Cocina de Mexico Opens at The Grove

Providing authentic flavorful Mexican cuisine, Alma Cocina de Mexico opens at The Grove on May 5. The ground floor taqueria and cocktail bar will open first with a second floor fine dining restaurant later in the month.

Veggie Grill Launches New Japanese Katsu-Style Sliders

New A-Sha Noodle Bar Food Truck

A-Sha Noodles now has a new A-Sha Noodle Bar food truck which will be popping up all over LA in May in celebration of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders month. Look for it May 7 at the 1st Valley Asian Cultural Festival from 10am to 4pm at the Row DTLA and May 22 at Smorgasburg LA from 10am to 4pm at the Row DTLA.

Peninsula Hotel Launches New Wellness Program and Pop Up Sushi Nokazawa

The Peninsula Hotels has a new next generation program, “Life Lived Best,” that elevates physical, mental, and nutritional well-being with amenities available at any time and at the touch of a button. The program lets guests select goals, such as increased strength, boosted energy, jet-lag relief and mindful rest and includes plant-based menus, sleep programming a wellness portal and concierge as well as local wellness experiences at each of the 10 properties, including the Beverly Hills location. Additionally, the resort is hosting a NYC Sushi Nakazawa pop up from May 12-June 11, Monday – Saturday at 6pm and 8:30pm on the Belvedere Terrace.

Orange liqueur brand Cointreau and Uber Eats have joined forces for Cinco de Mayo celebrations including a Margarita Mobile, located at The Row LA, 777 S. Alameda Street from 2 to 7pm, on May 5 where guests
can enjoy a Cointreau Margarita. Margarita lovers can also order a Margarita Cocktail Kit via Uber Eats beginning May 2, $45.

El Carmen Celebrates Cindo de Mayo and 25th Anniversary

Historic LA Tequila Bar & Taqueria El Carmen turns 25 on May 6 and will host a special party with DJ’s and mariachi bands. On May 5, beginning at 4pm, they will offer cocktail specials, margaritas and shots, 4pm to 2am.

Special Cinco de Mayo Cocktails at Bar Lis and Desert 5 Spot
