SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Just one of Savannah’s newest dining places on River Road, Savannah Tequila Enterprise, offers Mexican cuisine encouraged by common family recipes.
The latest addition to the Plant Riverside District opened on Feb. 12, and team say they’ve experienced a continuous stream of hungry attendees.
Chelsea Demark is the restaurant’s tequilier — assume of a sommelier but for tequila.
She suggests the common recipes on the menu make this spot a distinctive addition to Savannah’s restaurant scene.
“The foodstuff menu is all coming from our chefs who, a whole lot of them are coming from Mexico,” she explained to WSAV NOW. “They’re bringing a ton of spouse and children recipes to the table. So it is truly reliable cooking from the heart. Recipes that they’re very pleased to showcase and that we really like to try to eat on a day-to-day foundation.”
The Mexican restaurant also features a wander-up window to pick up a taco or margarita when you wander down River Road.
Demark claims it was actually important for them to be COVID conscious when opening the restaurant.
They are presenting outdoor seating and have spaced out their indoor seating to provide choices for company all through the pandemic.
“The persons who have come listed here are delighted by the simple fact that we are carrying out our best to be mindful,” she claimed.
From cocktails on-faucet and above a dozen diverse kinds of mezcal and tequila, Demark states there is a thing on the menu for absolutely everyone.
The restaurant is struggling with the Savannah River next to the Starbucks at the Plant Riverside District.
